You should contact Steven @ Demiforce. They are planning to release a Trism level pack this holiday season and they seemed to have worked around the issue of DLC. Also I believe Tapulous is releasing a branded version of TTR.?

Both of these seem to be very DLC like, good luck.

Subject: [softwaredev-121] Question about new Apple agreement & iTunes ecommerce functionality

As you may recall last month I started a discussion about the ability to sell "premium content" or features within an application. So the concept would be users download the app from the iphone app store for free and then purchase additional features (e.g. wallpapers or virtual weapons) from within the app via pay pal, a credit card or even iTunes. There was language in the NDA that was nebulous that hinted that Apple may not be ok with that.

1) Since they've abandoned the NDA, does the new agreement have the language below or anything similar?

"3.3.3 Without Apple's prior written approval, an Application may not provide, unlock or enable additional features or functionality through distribution mechanisms other than the iTunes Store."

Perhaps those of you who have the new agreement can fill us in.

2) Does anyone know if Apple is going to implement in the near term the ability for the purchase of premium features from within an iphone app via iTunes?
