Fear

Needs a location

Last time we had this discussion, the conversations were awesome. So putting this topic up again to see where we stand a year later ... I saw a video and book (below) about fear with these points: fear is healthy, turn fear and rejection (and failed trades) into curiosity, and conquer fear through friends / colleagues. This last point made me think of our group. This is what our group is about. Helping each other through tough times. Have you come across techniques that have helped you conquer fear of lossing? Have you found any videos or books that have helped you? If so, share them in the comments below. Let's discuss what's made you fearful, currently makes you fearful, and what you anticipate will make you fearful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Cct8kPlKE Robert Maurer, "Mastering Fear" A related video on curiosity, especially on using curiosity to conquer fear, on cross pollination to generate ideas, sunk costs versus opportunity costs ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-umcgekzFPU These points apply to trading. We'll also discuss the current market, your strategies, and your questions. Agenda • Quick introductions about your background: (advanced, intermediate, beginner, technical, fundamental, discretionary, stocks, options, futures, commodities, etc) • questions or issues since last meeting • successes since last meeting • Immediately discuss any topic of importance • Interactive discussion on today's topic • Closing • Diagnose your trading questions Today's meeting will be held by web.
