Join us for an playful take on speed-dating this February!

Lea Redmond ( share "Tangible Possibility," a creative and fun way to meet new people. Tangible Possibility is a friendly, light-hearted structure of whimsical, hands-on, get-to-know-you activities designed to draw out one’s true self, reveal a little bit of it to the other folks in the room, and help you find awesome new friends, colleagues, or romantic partners. You'll share memories of elementary school via paper airplanes, talk about your favorite book till the hourglass runs out, interpret Rorschach inkblots and sketch your dream homes.

Lea is the founder of Leafcutter Designs (, a creative studio best known for its World's Smallest Post Service's teeny tiny letters, Seed Money, and Recipe Dice. She is also the author of Knit The Sky (, Tandem Activity Book (, Letters To My Future Self ( and the board game Connexio ( Lea also runs participatory art projects such as With A Pencil In My Pocket and Sugar Books.

Albert Alexander ( and Richie Rhombus ( will also present a brief talk on Appetite Obscure (, an experimental dining collective that uses interactive meals to explore new forms of human connection. January 16th, they are hosting a surrealist dating event featuring interactive dishes that use the techniques and lures of dating in a new context: RSVP on facebook! (
