Rt. 3 and 95, Secaucus, NJ
A luxury photo tour of New York City aglow with Christmas lighting. Designed for the faint of heart.
We'll all meet at a specified location in the Plaza at Harmon Meadow at 12:00 noon.
Our chartered 56 passenger luxury coach will then whisk us off to New York City and be our base, dropping us at each location along our trek from Central Park to the tip of Manhattan. This is a great way to maximize the number of locations we can visit without walking your feet off. The best part is that you can always go back the coach if you’re tired or need to warm your cockles. We’ll also be able to leave our gear on the coach so you don’t have to schlep a heavy backpack just in case and there will likely be a restroom on board…how convenient is that.
While we haven't set our final itinerary in stone yet, here are some of the possible photo stops being considered.
• Central Park in late afternoon
• The ubiquitous Rockefeller Center and surrounding streets
• Several stops along Park Avenue and 6th avenue.
• Times Square
• Grand Central Terminal
• Macy's Window
• Downtown locations like Little Italy and Chinatown and possibly the Brooklyn Bridge to shoot the "YO - OY sculpture.
At the end of the evening, we'll board our coach for the return trip to the Meadowlands and our cars. This is a 10 hour odyssey and you’re sure to get some great shots. To insure that you do, Malcolm will be providing some training and tips on shooting the lights.
The following images should give you a fairly good idea of what photo ops await you.
Feliz Navidad, Joyeux Noel, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
