We're going back for the 7th year in a row!
Get ready for the 2017 Sundance Film Festival set to take place from January 19 to 29. There will soon be another amazing 10 days and nights of films, dinners, music, parties, and Main Street exuberance … not to mention great skiing and snowboarding for those who make it out onto the snowy slopes!
The remaining rooms and beds are listed below. I've included the pricing for each, depending on the number of people. To request a room or bed, please message me via Meetup with what you're interested in. I'll get back to you with details. We won't have more than 12 people total in the lodge.
Queen bedroom: This den/bedroom is downstairs with a shared bathroom just across the hall. It's $650 for one or two people.
Bunk bedroom: This bedroom is upstairs and has two bunk beds, each with a lower queen bed and an upper twin bed, for four beds total. The room has a private bathroom. Two queen bunks are $300 each for one person or $450 each for two people. The remaining twin bunk is $250 for one person.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION UPDATE
Here are the times people have booked for arrival and departure into Salt Lake City airport:
Oral+1: Arrive Wed. 2:41 p.m., depart Sun. 3:22 p.m.
Marina: Arrive Wed. 10:38 p.m., depart Sun. 7:50 p.m.
If you want to share a van, try to book your flight times to be near when other people would be available to share with you. The cost will depend on how many people share and what you rent. I plan to book something leaving the airport around 4 p.m. Wednesday, arriving back at the airport around 2 p.m. Sunday.
I'll post airfares here. Feel free to let me know anything to post.
11/28: Delta has round trips from LAX to SLC for about $200 depending on flight times. JetBlue still has a few of the low fares available from Long Beach.
9/15: JetBlue has a round trip from Long Beach to SLC nonstop for $198. Add $30 each way for one checked bag.
8/31: Alaska has a round trip from LAX to SLC with (non-stop) from $209.
Four nights in Park City, arriving Wednesday, January 25th and departing Sunday, January 29th. This covers the second weekend of the Festival, allowing for more ticket availability and lower package prices.
We have a four-bedroom townhome at the Deer Valley Resort, at Lakeside. Lakeside is located a half-mile from Snow Park Lodge at the base of Deer Valley Resort and on the free Park City Transit route. The three-story townhome-style condominiums feature a private two-car garage, fully equipped kitchen, daily housekeeping, washer and dryer, and fireplace. The services include complimentary wireless Internet and Cadillac Escalade driver service in Park City. The complex offers a common-area outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs and a sauna.
More details and photos are available at:
A number of carriers fly into Salt Lake City (SLC), about 50 minutes from the resort. Prices can go up and availability down as the Festival approaches. Otherwise, it's about 700 miles to drive from Los Angeles to Park City.
Shuttle service runs about $40 each way between SLC airport and Park City, depending on service and number of people. I'll get arrival details for people to coordinate a van shuttle, or we may rent an SUV.
In Park City, we'll have complimentary pick-up and in-town transportation via Cadillac Escalade, as well as the skier shuttle to and from Snow Park Lodge. We'll also have free Park City Transit buses running from the Resort to Main Street and all of the Sundance venues.
A tip for skiers and boarders: almost everyone in town for Sundance is NOT here to ski, so the slopes are nearly empty and those who do get out there love the fresh tracks, wide open spaces, and lingering powder.
