Indoor Rock Climbing at Triangle Rock Club

Join THOG for a fun night at Triangle Rock Club.  TRC hosts over 9000 square feet of climbing walls and bouldering. No matter what your skill level is, there is fun for everyone.

We will meet at 6:30 at TRC.  Check in and pay. It's a good idea to get there 15 minutes early.

Costs are:  $13 to get in for non-members.  Equipment rental is and additional $10.  First time guests get a free climbing pass.

WHAT TO BRING:
Comfortable stretchy-style pants or shorts. Any t-shirt that isn’t too constricting. Jeans are not very comfortable for climbing. Ladies: If you have long nails, you may want to trim the
m to make climbing easier! Feel free to bring a change of clothes, if you want to.

You must sign a TRC waiver if you have never climbed there before, and you must also sign a THOG waiver for the event.

Afterwards, we can go out for dinner, have a beer and watch a basketball or hockey game.

Thanks Allen for being such a great coach for us first timers!! It was nice to meet Mel, Larry and Karly as well! I look to give it another shot again! :)

I had a great time. I'm glad Larry, Angie and Mel all did great their first time climbing. I can't wait for next time.

I'm new to town but I'm in. I know how to belay, but like I said I'm new in town so I'm not certified here.

Heather, yes, first timers are welcome. We will teach you all about climbing. It's all very simple, but you have to be on alert so no one gets hurt.
