Drive time from Raleigh about 2hrs and 30min, depending on your exact location. Meeting at the boat ramp at 10:30am. If that's full, park in the parking before the boat ramp.
This event is not for beginner bikers. The ride is singletrack type, very flowy. Relative short, about 17.0 miles.
Bike type needed, mountain. There are no rentals at the place, you must bring your own. Make sure that your bike is properly tuned and you have a spare tube with you.
Must have a helmet or no ride.
Bring for yourself water and lunch food.
If you are looking for something different than the local routes, come on over.
Not quite sure about your capabilities or the route, feel free to contact me or post questions in the comments.
There will be an entrance fee at park $10 per vehicle, consider carpooling. Bring money, cash, for the driver.
Again, you must be an intermediate biker.
Customary, let's hangout for dinner after the ride. Although would have to be back in Raleigh Durham area. Specify if you are interested to hangout for dinner, I might have to make reservations. To be decided.
By RSVP’ing to this event, you are agreeing to the following:
