We’re excited to kick off a new series of community events strengthening the worldwide community of facilitators and coaches. This first event, in association with International Facilitation Week, will be facilitated by Simon Powers and Nairy McMahon to share why, how and what we will be doing as a community to promote self-organisation through systemic coaching and large-scale facilitation.

Many of us are working in organisations who require better and better products and services but yet delivered faster and/or cheaper. Often, we find that we can do great things at the team level, but once the wider enterprise is considered, things start to stall. If you are a change agent or leader you may have experienced getting so far with an "agile transformation" and things seemingly falling apart or people reverting to old patterns after a few months or even a year.

We believe agile has reached as far as it can go unless we stop pushing agile on to people, as this creates resistance and resentment and reduces self-organisation. Instead we want to create environments where people are invited to be powerful, feel included, and can solve all types of problems themselves.

Join this meetup with AWA Founder Simon Powers, and Nairy McMahon, systemic coach and director of CRR UK. The event will introduce our new program of community meetups aimed at promoting self-organisation through systemic coaching and large-scale facilitation.

Together as a community, we will learn powerful techniques that will enable us to examine problems completely for more informed choices by:

- discussing the real issues
- building upon inner strengths
- finding solutions together

Each month the AWA community will be joined by a collective of experienced and qualified facilitators as well as volunteer facilitators. By attending our first event you will learn what to expect, how to get involved and get to meet our supporters.
