Easy pace cycle to Brantford & back. It would be super nice to have company. Cycle at your personal comfort level on packed gravel/earth. The first 11K has a slight uphill grade. I take a short break at the rail station 5K in. Eight crossroads along the path, two short hills at 25K in which can be walked up versus ridden. Once over the hills we reach Papple Rd. which leads a short distance up to the highway to Tim Horton's for a 30 minute rest, refuelling and bragging time! Approximate trip time: 2 hr. to Brantford and 1 1/2 return due to downhill grade. Total trip approx. 60K. Water - necessity and snack(s). Bring all your necessary gear/helmet. Majority of trail is shaded with some open farmer fields along the way. Great for fitness/conversation & meditation.
