What we're about

Hello Ladies!

There are already several great book clubs in the surrounding areas. This book club is going to be a bit different. I already attend a couple other book clubs that highlight their reading selection based on the new releases and/or bestsellers, etc. This is great but it can become costly. I know that there are many, many books out there that are affordable and still amazing! They may not be this year's hottest selection, but they are still a "good read" and 4.5 stars! We will be reading Psychological Thrillers, Suspense, Women's Fiction, Historical Fiction, Chik Lit, etc., and any other genre members may suggest!

EVER HEAR OF BOOKBUB, etc? Of course you have if you enjoy reading. I have over 1500 books on my e-reader and they are probably all around $2.99 or less! LET'S GET READING.

Lastly, I travel OFTEN so the date of the book event may change and not be as consistent as other book clubs, but it will always at least be on the same day of the week, probably a Friday (and an occasional Sunday brunch too) so we don't have to rush and worry about being to work the next day! I will also have the book club every 3-4 weeks, rather than once a month. This will allow lots of members to participate at different times.

Happy Reading!

BOOK CLUB @ NOBLE CRUST ($0.99 The Girl on the Beach by Tracey Buchanan)

The Girl on the Beach by Tracey Buchanan $0.99 - https://tinyurl.com/yxlp8bu2 The girl is freezing. Amber instinctively pulls her close, willing her own warmth to seep into her fragile body. ‘Why can’t I remember anything?’ the girl asks. The girl on the beach has no recollection of who she is, or what she is doing there. She is clutching a notebook, filled with stories and pictures she can’t recognise. Amber Caulfield finds and takes her in, unsettling a loneliness built by bitter losses. A childhood accident robbed her of three fingers. Her daughter was taken by a tragic illness. And her marriage didn’t survive her daughter’s death. Ever since, she’s felt empty. But the day she finds the teenage girl wandering barefoot and confused along the frozen beach of Winterton Chine, everything changes. As Amber feels her maternal instinct reawaken to help the girl, something that feels a tiny bit like hope flickers inside her–– for the first time in years. But who is the girl on the beach? Where is she from? And what led her to Amber, and this particular beach, on the coldest day of the year?
