AAARs is the meetup group of We Don't Quit Adventure Racing Club. WDQ Adventure Racing Club strives to get more people of color active and into the nature. To this aim we help to prepare people of all fitness levels with the skill sets and the conditioning needed to participate in Adventure Races, and of course have a lot of fun while doing it. All levels of experience and fitness are welcome. We will have at least 2 training sessions per month and field teams in races throughout the year.

Adventure Racing (expedition racing) is a multi-disciplinary team sport involving navigation over an unmarked wilderness course with races extending anywhere from two hours up to two weeks in length and is a whole lot of fun.
Do I have to run a lot?
You do not need to be able to jog long distances to participate in an Adventure Race. Hiking is just fine for entry level type of races
What if I cant swim?
You do not need to be able swim. During ALL water legs a Life vest is required and you will be in a Canoe, kayak, paddle board or raft.
