Hi Everyone. If you haven't already, get Global Entry & become a trusted traveler, . It's valid for 5 years. It'll also clear you for TSA precheck. It'll save you time leaving the U.S. (as you can go through TSA precheck) & save you LOTS of time when you are reentering the U.S. (you won't have to stand in the customs line). Usually, customs isn't too long, i.e. 30 min., but when I flew into ATL Sunday, the line was 2.5 hours long at 5:30 am because their systems & kyosks were down (which is the norm @ ATL, lately). I was able to bypass the line & went through customs in 10 minutes. This also comes in handy if you have connecting flights that you don't want to miss :-) Especially since we'll be traveling during the holiday season. The interview takes 15 minutes, but interview slots are a few months out, unless you go to or live in Chicago, so plan ahead. If you have any questions, let me know! ~Cheers!

Hi! Waaay excited about this trip & thanks for the enthusiasm, it's contagious!! If you know of anyone else who's interested, please let them know that the deposit deadline is this Friday, 3/26. If folks have questions about the trip, they can message me via meetup or I can message them my phone number, so that we can chat. There won't be additional trip conference calls for this trip before the deposit deadline. If they need a roommate, we've got folks who keep popping up who need them, so we'll do our best to get them one. Cheers!! ~Tiffany

    March 22

  • Tiffany

IMPORTANT: You are able to pay your deposit WITHOUT having your roommate on the phone (either A) because you don't have one or B) because they aren't physically there with you when you make a payment). It will be set up as a single occupancy room, in your name. This means that your total trip cost will read approximately $1700. Ask the agent to put in the comments section the 1st & last name of your roommate. If you don't have a roommate, post here in the comments section, so that you can get paired with one (at this time, we just need the name of someone who needs a roommate, it doesn't mean that you will be rooming with them). When the 2nd person (your "roommate") calls in, then he/she will be added to your reservation & the per person charge will be $1049. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, Tiffany

Hello, I'm interested in going, but will need a roommate and wanted to ask if we would be getting together to meet everyone before we go. Thank you

    March 9

    • Tiffany

Hi Treena! I'm glad you're interested in going!! You can post in the roommate groupme for a roommate & I can post, too to let people know that you're looking for one. We live all over the states, so we communicate through the groupme for this trip. There are several folks from Louisville going, including me, so meeting locally for us is great option! :-)

3/4/16 She found a rommmate. Thanks!

      March 5

  • Tiffany

Hi Everyone! I created a Roommate Connection, groupme chat. It's for people who are looking for a roommie. It's accessible by everyone (meaning members of the travel groups based out of other cities). Once you join, remember to say which trip you're looking for a roommate for :-),

    March 4

  • Lenice R.

I need a room mate but I don't have a passport as of yet, would that be a halt in my reservation until I get a passport

    March 2

    • Tiffany

Hi Lenice! There's someone who needs a roommate. Let me confirm with her that she hasn't gotten one since last night. Also, you should be able to make your reservation w/o a passport & be able to provide the info to the tour company later. It's been taking people 2-3 weeks to get them done, so that gives you plenty of time before the tour company has to have all completed info (but let me confirm with them after 9 a.m. today).

      1 · March 2

    • Tiffany

Follow up: I spoke with a rep @ the tour company & Yes, you can book without having a passport since the trip isn't soon. If you need anything else, let me know!!
