What we're about

The Agape Food Pantry need volunteers that choose to express their love and devotion to God, by serving others. That means, our volunteers must demonstrate kindness, be courteous, and always smile to the people who come for assistance. Let’s face it, that is very difficult to do for some patrons. Therefore, our volunteers must view their serving those in need, as a tangible expression of their love for God. This scripture below comes to mind: “35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,” Matthew 25:35-40

Feeding the Hungry at the Agape Food Pantry

Location visible to members

Every 3rd Saturday of the month, from 11:00 am to 1:30pm, the Agape Food Pantry doors are open for anyone who needs food assistance, to walk-in and get food.

When the patrons come, they register and are escorted to a seat in or service hall. We provide a short message of hope (15-min) and then they walk through a line to pick the food items they would like.

On the 3rd Saturdays, we give our prayer, hope, love, produce, fruits, veggies, chicken, canned goods and toiletries.

We need volunteers to help with food setup, distribution and cleanup.

All volunteers must believe Jesus is the Son of the living God. That salvation is the free gift of God, and that miracles happen to those who believe.

All volunteers must also come dressed in a black or dark shirt and blue jeans.

If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, please don't come. We do not want to offend you.
