Let's meet up to talk about Agile: share knowledge, pains, wins, challenges and much more!
The 3rd edition will be hosted by Nmbrs (tks Gabriela)!
Here follows our proposed agenda:
18:30-19:00 - Networking and snacks
19:00-19:10 - Opening
19:10- 19:45 - "Value is hard to predict, especially in the future.", by Tom Heisterkamp.
Description: In order to create any value an organization needs to make costs first. However, the focus should mainly be on value. Organizations often focus on reducing costs instead of enhancing the creation of value because costs are easier to measure and in the hands of the organization. For value the customer is in charge and it is harder to measure. In addition, value creation lies further in the future. This session shows how organizational agility can enhance the predictability of costs by time-boxing product development with stable teams. Although organizational agility cannot enhance the predictability of value, it can enhance the probability of value with product increments and short feedback loops from customers. This process of trial and error is essential in a complicated and complex world.
Tom Heisterkamp is an independent agile coach/trainer/speaker/author at Vagile.nl with 35 years of experience in IT and he loves agile beers.
19:45- 20:40- Lean Beer
