As the name implies, the mission of the ACE: NYC (covering NYC and NNJ) is to exchange ideas, inspiration, and tools to build skill and support the leadership development of those in the discipline of Agile Coaching.

How Agile Leaders FORM an Ecosystem for their Teams to Thrive

As a leader, have you wondered how to create an environment for your Agile teams to truly thrive? If you answered yes, you’ll want to come to this workshop to learn how leaders can "FORM" an Agile Ecosystem including: Fun work environment, Obstacle removal, Rewarding teams, and Mentoring and coaching teams. Brian and other members of the Agile Mentoring Program (AMP) “Movement” are providing this model for free because they're tired of most Agile transformations failing.

Learning outcomes:
You will leave with numerous takeaways on how leadership can "FORM" an Agile Ecosystem for your teams to thrive. These takeaways will be grouped into four principles represented by the acronym “FORM”. Throughout the workshop we will discuss each principle and have hands-on exercises producing recommended as well as crowd-sourced experiments for participants to take back to their workplace. The key points include the following four “FORM” takeaways:

1) How to create a Fun work environment and Decrease Fear

2) Creatively removing Obstacles

3) Innovating ways to Reward your teams, not just individuals

4) How to best Mentor and Coach teams

About our Speaker:
Embracing the philosophy of “leave no mark behind,” Brian Wills is a Certified Scrum Professional and Master Agile Coach who empowers others to build their careers and lead thriving Agile Transformations on their own. His experience spans from High-Tech in Silicon Valley to Global Finance in NYC. Having spoken at numerous Agile conferences, he enjoys speaking on topics ranging from Agile Transformation to Culture Change in order to help business and development communities to continuously improve.
