Scrum is over 20 years old and has proven to be an awesome enabler to better, more agile business results in IT, software development, and many other new product development environments. Kanban is even older although its application to “knowledge work” is only 10-15 years old. Scrum.org has recently developed the Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams to help marry two great approaches together. Like chocolate and peanut butter, two great things can be even better together.
In this talk, Mark Noneman will show how Kanban can be used by Scrum Teams to deliver more predictable results, get richer information about the organization’s processes, and to manage the flow of work through continuous integration, continuous deployment, and other practices of DevOps.
