Agile West Midlands are excited to announce their first meet up - An Introduction to Agile!

About Rob Cooper
Rob Cooper has been working with organisations trying to help them create good digital products for nearly 20 years. Some of that time he’s even succeeded in doing so. A key turning point was when he found an alternative to the ‘Gantt and hope’ approach of typical Project Management in the form of Agility. This moved the discussion from process control to human behaviour which unfortunately complicated things. Since then he’s been fortunate enough to work with a variety of large organisations who’ve been grappling with Agile ideas and what this might mean for them. He’s coached not only within development teams but across organisations with anyone who is interested. Remaining ambitions include seeing Agile influence Education & community development. Rob is a fan of helping people reflect on why they do what they do, drinking tea and eating good food.

We are hoping to hold these events every second Tuesday of the month, with the exception of our first event being on a Wednesday!

Parking details
There is parking around the back of the building. As you pull into the entrance at the front of the building you immediately turn left. There is a security barrier that should be left up to allow people in. All of the sales-i dedicated spaces have their logo next to the parking space number. You would then walk back around to the front of the building to enter and sign in with Joe in reception. There are approx. 60 spaces, but some may be being used by sales-i staff who are already attending the event.
