We're back with our community talks this month run by Daniel Liebig, Agile Coach at Sixt, sharing his real-life scaling experience:

"End of 2015 Sixt started an new software initiative within it's IT, exploring possibilities of new solutions on latest state technology. Creating a microservice architecture by Domain Driven Design principles in a cloud based resilient environment seemed to cover all required buzzwords that where available at that point. Starting first with a small team of experts, this software initiative grew and prospered and soon required more organization than just "let's do it". So the team started to adopt Agile principles and Scrum. Soon delivering first functionality to production, the project grew and until today scaled to five teams, working in a scaled Scrum mode that was empirically created by inspect & adapt.

Daniel Liebig, Agile Coach of the initiative, will present in an interactive session on things they did, things that happened and things learned on this journey."

We're happy to have PAYBACK GmbH as our sponsor for this meetup, providing us with the venue, pizza and drinks. We'd like to thanks Anke Maerz for her support in making this happen.
