Tackling the 5-dysfunctions of a team

A look at Patrick Lencioni's 5-dysfunctions of a team, the symptoms, the causes and the behaviours that help eradicate them from a team.

Working with people and building great teams is difficult, but getting groups of people to work as a team can really make a difference. When groups of people start working as a  team, continuous improvement can become part of the working culture and produce great results.

In this talk Sam Whiting, scrum master for New Bamboo, will discuss the 5 Dysfunctions of A Team. (Absence of trust, Fear of conflict, Lack of commitment, Avoidance of accountability and Inattention to results). He will share how to identify some of the behaviours and share some insights on how to handle them. If you have to deal with the complexity of people and teams, this should be an interesting talk for you.

We have added a waiting list. If you cannot attend, please update your rsvp which will alert others a space has become available.

We are going to try and get some extra seats, if we can we'll contact you immediately. In the mean time we'd like to ask if anyone can't make it that they update their rsvp here so that others can sign up in their place.

Hi, Is there a waiting list on this meetup that I can join

If any spaces become available, I'd really like to come along. The topic resonates strongly with the struggles I am having currently & would really appreciate the opportunity to learn from others' experience.

We have yet to confirm the location, but are hoping to get a venue in or near the city centre. If you would like to host the talk or future talks, get in touch with us.
