Aging2.0 Sacramento is part of a global network with a mission to accelerate innovation to improve the lives of older adults by connecting, educating and supporting innovators in aging and long-term care. We are working to create an interdisciplinary, collaborative community of people from business, research, policy, design and technology, together with older adults themselves in order to advance innovation and improve the quality of life. Our events include an annual Global Startup Search, panel discussions and informal gatherings. Join us!
The Sacramento chapter of Aging2.0 is proud to announce an “Older Americans Celebration.” Aging2.0 will spotlight the Board of County Supervisors, Sacramento County Adult & Aging Commissioners, innovators in the aging space and county resources and services focused to helping caregivers and older adults. We are excited to launch the inaugural “5 Over 50” awards to an older achiever from each of the 5 districts who, after the age of 50, has accomplished something that has benefited his or her community. If you know of anyone that you would like to nominate, please contact [masked] for an application, which is due by April 12th. There are no entry fees.
At this event, you will get to meet Board of County Supervisors and staff members as well as Commissioners from the Adult & Aging Commission, inspirational senior leaders from our communities and local innovators in the aging space. Aging2.0 will host a pitch competition so if you or someone would like to be 1 of 5 competitors, please contact us at [masked] or [masked]. Food and drinks will be served.
The event is free; however, registration is required at www.aging2.com/Sacramento.
If you’re interested in being a sponsor or would like more information, please contact Keri Vogtmann at [masked].
Food & drinks will be served. Be sure to RSVP at www.aging2.com/sacramento.
