- Bridging the gap between Designers and Developers
Tagline Help designers understand code(CSS) and help developers understand and study design About This Meetup This workshop will be a discussion about improving the Workplace Experience, understanding and empathising with your co-workers (Designers ⬌ Developers) and an attempt to understand their intentions, rationale, constraints and goals associated with their respective fields. We'll also have a hands-on session where we’ll design and convert a Landing Page into front-end code(HTML/CSS/JS). At every step of this process, design concepts will be translated into HTML structures and CSS styles. We’ll also dive into implementation and performance complications that come up during development which can be solved during the design phase itself. The final takeaway from this will be to 1. For Designers: Create a better awareness of the difficulties and limitations developers might face using your designs 2. For Developers: Help better understand the rationale and necessity of a particular design concept and why it is designed the way it is. Agenda 1. Understand how CSS works 2.
