The Book of the Law, a central Thelemic Holy Book, was channeled to Aleister Crowley by a spirit named Aiwass, in Cairo between noon and 1:00 pm on three successive days: April 8th, 9th, and 10th in the year of 1904. We celebrate those days with a reading and feasting.
On Wednesday, April 9th, we will have a potluck dinner and a reading of the second chapter, which is in the voice of Hadit.
You can read the chapter here: http://www.thelema.org/aa/documents/the_book_of_the_law/chapter_2.html
Please bring food and drink to share. The feast for Hadit traditionally includes spicy foods. But bring what you like. Please post in the comments what you would like to bring for the potluck, so we aren't all bringing the same thing.
Suggested donation of $8.00 to help pay the room rental.
