Over the year 2016 we will be holding monthly meetups for the "2016 Artwork Challenge". Every month will have a different theme. We will schedule a meetup that month to work on that piece at various locations all over Alameda.

Weather permitting we will meetup out side near the Mosely's Cafe at the marina overlooking Coast Guard Island.

There are ,tables, benches, chairs but feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Mosley's cafe closes at 3PM so if you would like to get lunch, snacks, coffee or anything you need to do it within the first hour you are there. There are public restrooms by the Marina. I've never used them, so not exactly sure of the condition. I will check them out this week though.

Note: We will be there till 4:30. The animal shelter is also located here for anyone interested. They are open till 5pm and have tons of pups and cats that need snuggled. :)

This month: MAY Theme: AGE

Old, Growing, Time Passing, Trees, Human, Abstract, Realism... It is open to you and how you want to interpret it.

On Nov 15th, 2016... we will have a Call For Art based on the 2016 Artwork Challenges. Accepted works will be displayed at Studio 23 in our group show on 2nd Friday December 2016. See more details and future "2016 Artwork Challenges" below...
