Still Life Study or Freestyle: This session will last 4 hours with breaks throughout.
Still life drawings are drawings of non-living objects, arranged in a specific way, to create meaning or a visual effect. Common still life objects include things like flowers, fruits, vegetables, and other foods and beverages.
This particular still life practice helps hone skills like perspective, shadows, negative space, depth & so much more. For some this will come naturally, for others it is a discipline. But everyone can benefit from it.
Feel free to do a still life or work on whatever your heart desires in a freestyle session.

*Indoor and/or outdoor depending on the number of attendees. So dress appropriately. We prefer to keep this donation based so no one is ever turned away. However, please only RSVP if you are sure you are coming. You can RSVP up until the night before.
*These meetups are about making art. Please keep phone calls outside (away from the group) as well as loud or lengthy conversations. We love for people to connect, that is what we are all about. Please just use common sense and be considerate of other artist's time.
We welcome feedback on new meetup ideas for 2019 and other ways on improving our group!
