Guided Hike to the Protected Area of Government Canyon

This is an announcement of a non-Sierra Club lead hike. See information on how to find additional information and to RSVP below.

Join us on a guided hike to the Protected Habitat with members of the GCSNA Activities Committee and Trail Patrol. The hike is from 8AM until around 3:00 or 4:00 PM, depending on participants. Participation is limited. Reservations are required and will be accepted beginning at noon on December 4, 2013 and ending at noon on January 3, 2014. Sorry, no group reservations.       This hike is actually being lead by the Friends of Government Canyon who cutoff reservations on their website at noon today. But my guess is that there will be cancellations, so that if you come there will like be an open spot. Besides this is a public park so that anyone can use the trails which will be hiked.

      The hike is likely to be 12 plus miles. That was the distance of the Alamo Group hike last year.
