Re: [Albany-Day-Trippers] finger lakes

Hi John,  I've actually gathered some info about The Seneca Lodge...there's about 80 cabins/A-frames/motel rooms...I need to get prices as they fluctuate with busy times of year, and I have to call to find that out...they didn't have online capability to book...but it definitely looked decent & they have a great looking bar/restaurant right on the premises with full breakfast, lunch,  & dinners as well as some craft brews from local breweries...its open only seasonally so maybe if people want to, we can have a last weekend to camp before the end of October...there's also a really nice looking KOA campgrounds with full service camping sites (water & electric hookup & WiFi internet) as well as some cabins by Watkins Glen...we definitely have a spectrum of options...I love to camp!

How long ago did you go??? We usually go camping several times during the summer, and I had wanted to do the finger lakes this year but we ended up going to fish creek pond instead,up by the saranacs. How much is it to do the cabins??? Or do you know where I can get some more info, probably for next year.

I have not been active in the group but just want to share that when I went to the finger lakes I stayed at seneca lodge which is very reasonable and terrific all around. Right next to watkins glen state park, cabins restaurant etc highly recommended. Gina
