Meet at Seathwaite Farm ( https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Edmondson+Pfirstname.lastname@example.org,-3.1782317,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x3d3c917097f98a43) at 0830 for an 0900 start.
The plan is to head up England's highest peak via Sprinkling Tarn, skirt round Great End, up Scafell Pike and then drop down via the Corridor Route.
This is a beautiful route up with some stunning views (on a clear day) of the Lake District and a steady but none too difficult descent.
Please be aware that we are planning on doing this in a day so a good level of fitness will be required. The route is a steady ascent with some scrambles, some long climbs and a ruddy long descent. There are very few gentle stretches to recover. If you are unsure about attending please let me know.
The only weather I will cancel for is heavy wind so if you don't like walking in the wet please bear in mind that it is called the Lake District for a reason!
For those of you interested there is a lovely little campsite right at the start of the walk which I will be staying at on the Friday night.
