Run out of Matt Stone's house in Framingham, Matt is member and coordinator of multiple game groups including: Tabletop Gamers Alliance, MENSA, and Metrowest Movie Meetup. This event is part of "FRAGS" a tabletop club.
On a typical night, we have 3-4 games going. Usually one longer game, and the others are lighter. He try to tailor to whoever is there.
Even though there are rarely that many RSVP's at the meetups, there are almost always at least 10 people here, and usually closer to 20. Newcomers are welcomed. Framingham has ODD/EVEN parking, so this year they need to park on the RIGHT side (odd). No need to ring the bell or knock; they can come right in.
The MIT Strategic Games Society (SGS) is an MIT gaming group that meets weekly to play board games, card games, and RPGs (role-playing games), as well as the occasional war game. Some of the most commonly played games are Titan, Power Grid, Battlestar Galactica, St. Petersburg, Agricola, and Puerto Rico, as well as card games like Wizard and Tichu. SGS has a large collection of games available for playing at the club and for members to check out. We are very friendly to newcomers – prior gaming experience is completely unnecessary, as people are always happy to teach people how to play.
