RSVP is PER DOG not per person. No intact male dogs. Dogs must be friendly to little kids and other dogs and NOT aggressive about tennis balls since pups will be playing in the water.

This is an easy 2 mile hike through woods of Fahnestock Park. This route will take us to a scenic pond where we take 30-45 minutes break for pups to swim and play. This is very slow, lazy hike, perfect for older dogs or dogs who love to play and swim. Parking is along the road 301. Trail head starts at red blaze. You can bring snack or lunch and toys to throw if your dog likes to swim.

Directions: The trail head is on the left side, about 0.7 mile passed Dennytown Rd (if you are coming from Route 9. If you see Canopus Lake you went to far.) You will probably see cars parked along the road. If you are coming from Taconic Parkway, trail head is on your right. If you can't find it call or text[masked]
