There are a lot of different parties/club events and things to do out there apart from the normal pubs and clubs and this group will take you there. Weekends we often do clubby nights with a festival or kinky ethos - music tends to be electro/electroswing/drum n bass, week nights will have everything from spoken word to musical bingo to hip hop karaoke.

Almost every meetup will start with a few drinks somewhere so we can congregate and get to know each other before moving on to the venue.

Suggestions welcome... but please make sure they fit with the ethos of the group. If an event wouldn't make someone go 'oh, that's different/weird/how the hell did they come up with that one?' then it's probably not for this group. Run it by me first so I can either add it myself if I can go, or ensure that you can host it and it doesn't just get added as a listing. This isn't Time Out!

I am asking members to contribute £3.00 to the running of this group. Besides the time and effort involved, I'm charged £140 by Meetup EACH YEAR to run the group so any help is appreciated.
