What we’re about
This is a group for anyone in the Netherlands interested in spiritual teachings, meetings, sessions and workshops given by English speakers. If you have meetings, classes or gatherings or know of a visiting teacher who would be of interest to to group members, please contact the Organizer so we can arrange for you to post your events.
Patricia Ramaer founded this group and we are so happy to offer it because there are so many people out there that want to find like-minded people, who want to have a session or take a workshop and find there is not much given specifically in English. We hope this will be a hub for spiritual events, meetings and classes so that everyone can benefit from these opportunities. We look forward to sharing!

We welcome you to the Spiritual Poetry NightOwl Meetup! We are meeting at 0100 early Monday morning - late night Sunday! About 25 people attend from several groups - we'd love to hear from you what poem or quote is meaningful to you - Do you love Rumi, Rilke, Joy Harjo, Hafiz, Mary Oliver, Alice Walker, Ryokan, Thomas Merton, Mirabai, Pablo Neruda, Hildegard of Bingen, Wendell Berry, Nâzım Hikmet, Thich Nhat Hanh or...? Every meetup is different, depending on what you choose to read and discuss. Let's learn from each other as we share these invitations to what is higher and deeper.
We draw strength, support, and inspiration from poetry and wisdom traditions. All paths and views are welcome -- this is an open and welcoming space where we get to know others who share a love for spiritual poetry and wisdom quotes, and for that which connects us with a deeper life, regardless of spiritual path or personal history. One note: we value the poets among us, but we don't read our own work.
NOTE: RSVPs close two hours before the meetup begins. To join the meeting you must be logged in on Zoom, and a password is required. The password will be sent by direct message or email as we get closer to the date. Please make sure your email settings on Meetup allow you to receive Meetup's emails for this group, and please check your Meetup account for messages. This program will give you a new view on life and yourself through subjects such as the Universal Laws, the 5 Human Energy Centers, and the Great Work that connects both.
You will learn about the interplay of body-mind- emotion, how you can read symbols and understand colours, and how you can sense the unseen worlds. You are welcome to visit for one evening and see if you wish to join for longer.
