I got lots of useful ideas and advice at this meetup: - Use Chrome dev tools to measure performance (Timeline and Profiles). - Don't set the frame rate, let the machine work out what's the optimum frame rate for the animation. - Use Pixi for graphics and Matter as physics engine. - Promote your game with a nice screenshot on Twitter with the hashtag #screenshotsaturday - Promote on Twitter rather than Facebook: it's more effective. - Write a press release shortly before your game is about to launch to blogs and sites that review games.
