What we’re about
The Amsterdam Queer Bookclub aims is to serve the broader LGBTQIA+ community.
We originally choose/stressed the name Queer for this bookclub, as to quote Armistead Maupin this is where the most interesting work is to be done"I am happy to stress the queer aspect because that’s where the work needs to be done."

We also have A for Ally ... this is also a safe space for people in straight relationships to talk about queer fiction, as long they are Allies to the good cause :)
Just like every other bookclub, typically each month we will get together to discuss a book either fiction or nonfiction. However, we can mix this up with films … we've already had one film request (Transamerica).
