Tina Proctor will share the intriguing and inspiring myth of Kuan Yin, the Chinese Buddhist Bodhisattva of Compassion. Come hear of a father and daughter who are caught in conflict leading to intense anger, stubborn reactions, a magic tiger, a visit to the underworld and eventually, transformation. What groups of people do you most fear? What do you criticize in yourself? What causes your greatest conflict? We will open to a place of kinship through understanding and non-judgment through compassion.

Tina Proctor is a storyteller who has spent the past 14 years introducing groups to goddess stories spanning the world through space and time. She has a MS in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and a MA in Women’s Spirituality from New College in San Francisco. Tina is the co-author with Donna DeNomme of Ophelia’s Oracle: Discovering the Happy, Healthy, Self-Aware and Confident Girl in the Mirror, published in 2009 and winner of 15 national awards.

The admission is only $10.00 which you can pay at the door.

We look forward to seeing you there.
