Meditation and Discernment: The Keys to Wisdom

The yoga master Paramhansa Yoganada once said, "Understanding is the vision of your inner being, the sight of your soul, the telescope of your heart." This week, we will focus on yogic teachings, including meditation, that can help us choose wisely in our lives- to feel calm and centered, regardless of outer circumstances, and naturally allow us to avoid "happiness thieves." While ancient yoga teaches that calmness from discernment always proceed wisdom- our weekly meetings provide the tools to put that into actual daily use. However, much more than just a series of techniques, this practice can take you to the heart of inner strength, stillness, and joy at the center of your being.

Or, as Yogananda expressed, "When the mind is calm, how quickly, how smoothly, how beautifully you will perceive everything."smile

Led this week by Paul

Another fantastic gathering of souls- we explored how to stay grounded, calm, and discern what is most important within. What a gift on a Wed night in the heart of the city!

It was great to rejoin the group after being absent for a while. I could feel the stress and anxiety melt away....
