"The melting of everything in spirit is a state no one can describe. A great bliss is felt- eternal fullness of joy and knowledge and love."-Paramhansa Yogananda

For thousands of years, sacred teachings have stated that inner joy is actually one's true nature and meditation is one of the most powerful tools to experience it first hand, not just in theory.
The yoga master Yoganada once said "To seek happiness outside ourselves is like trying to lasso a cloud. Happiness is not a thing: It is a state of mind. It must be lived." This week, we will focus on practical yogic teachings that can help us experience deep inner joy, regardless of outer circumstances. More than just a series of techniques, this practice can take you directly to the heart of inner strength, stillness, and freedom at the center of your being. Like wiping the dirt off a stained glass window, meditation practice polishes off the "dust" that obscures the light of the heart. In this way, one's true radiance, color, and beauty can shine from the inside-out.

All spiritual affiliations of non are welcome! No experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

If you would like to volunteer in any way, i.e: bringing healthy snacks, help set of clean up, that would be wonderful! Please contact Paul any time.
