Calmness: the Source of Power

"An unruffled calmness can be gained by deeper and deeper meditation"- Paramhansa Yogananda

Yoga teaches that, in a true sense, we can continually cleanse the lens of our perceptions every day to get ever closer to the "sunlight of our spirit" within-- meditation being perhaps the most powerful tool to feel and know that innate inner "light." This is perhaps one of the reasons Paramhansa Yogananda fondly called regular meditation practice "a portable paradise." In my own experience, sticking with meditation has increasingly become just that... a priceless way to get relief from the hamster wheel of worries.... and to taste ever deeper calm.

Calmness, the source of inner power and a foundation of wisdom, will, actually, be out topic this Wed.
Hope to see you there!smile
