What kinds of things are you interested in making or hacking?

building cardboard creations, hacking home appliances,

Do you have any work experience or hobbies that led to your interest in making or hacking?

The short film Caine's Arcade, as well as the Ted Talk about Tinkerer School, led me to get thinking about the ways that schools can make the bridge from traditional learning to new technologies and creation. My brother is a materials science engineer and has been trying to talk me into experimenting with arduinos.

I'm a teacher and parent looking for ways to help children connect with innovation, technology, creativity, and problem solving in fun ways.
