Hey Sara...I won't be making it tomorrow. I've got a guy doing some work for me. I could leave him alone BUT there have been a few things that have happened that make me want to "supervise" what's going on. I sure hope he gets more done tomorrow. I'm tied to the house and missing out on the sunshine! Probably won't see you til March as I'll be leaving next week!

We'll miss you …. good luck! If you want to get into the hills before you leave, give me a call. :)

Since I have never hiked this trail I'm trying to figure out where exactly the trailhead is. Google earth shows a side street on the R (BLM RD) with a small parking area and what looks like a path leading into the woods. Is this where I should park and where you meet? Oh, and may I bring one of my beagles? thx!

How many miles is this trail? I see different references ranging from 4-6 mi? Just trying to gauge if I'm going to make it to yoga at noon ;)

Morning Verena, we typically walk for 1.5-2 hours depending on the group. THis trail is an out and back and if you are comfortable you can easily turn around and make your yoga class. I too have attending MANY noon yoga classes---talk about bliss---outside for a walk in nature--then yoga! Life doesn't get much better than that!

I'll plan on this one, unless I drive to Fairbanks. I'll know by Saturday or Sunday!
