What we're about

Let's improve together!

Are you fed up with power plays?

Have you felt you are NOT allowed to use your racket skills fully in games simply because of a male dominated badminton world in London?

Have you noticed you can actually have more fun and have more "decent" games in competitive Women's doubles?

Or, do you like simply to improve your racket skills without the frustration from a sheer power difference?

We're looking for serious (but fun) ladies badminton players who want to get together regularly and have a proper training for ladies players.

The knowledge and skills we gain here can be used for both Women's doubles and playing level with male players.

It’s a brand new ladies club with a resident coach to make it happen together!

Our regular training time at the moment is Tuesdays 6:45-7:45pm at Holloway School.

We're currently accepting members to join our training with a pay & play fee of £9/1 hour.

Good racket skills with good understanding of tactics are required. (If you are a member of London STEP UP Badminton (, it is "Venus" and up*.) We're currently accepting all keen ladies learners who have learned basics and to make good low serves. (Roughly "Sun" and upwards.) Complete beginners are advised to attend the coached sessions of the London STEP UP Badminton (

All members who are ready for league matches will be invited to join in our league team. (badm!nton (

Feather shuttlecocks are used in our club.

Hope to see you soon! :)
