  • Hello everyone! The Jesus Trail is a 40 mile walking / hiking path that runs from Nazareth where Jesus grew up to Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee where he practiced his ministry.

We'll have nice hotel and Kibbutz accommodations each evening and our luggage will be transported daily for us. We'll just have our day packs with us on the trail and our local guide who will tell us about all the important sites from the life of Jesus as well as other historical and religious sites as we hike through Zippori National Park, Cana, Horns of Hattin, Tabgha, and Mt. of Beatitudes and more.

This 6 night/7 day hiking adventure costs $1,333 double occupancy and airfare is not included. The price includes most meals and ground transportation. ($300 single supplement for your own room).

I've hiked sections of this trail and it's amazingly beautiful and the landscape is stunning. The atmosphere on The Jesus Trail really allows for a unique inward and outward journey, time for reflection, being in harmony with nature, walking through history, and making new friends along the way!

So let me know who's seriously interested and soon we can get together locally and I can talk more about it and show pictures etc.

Having never been to Israel and wanting to always go, I am very interested. I would like to know much more about the physical requirements of the trip.

If you have a decent level of fitness, it's not very strenuous overall. The hardest days would be 1,000 foot elevation gain most. If you give me you email I'll send you some more detailed info.
