It is easy to be outraged by injustice, intolerance, and cruelty, but anger will not save the world. In order to effect real change, we must free ourselves from the cycle of our reactivity. This class will explore how to work with one’s own poisons with extraordinary patience and diligence, and how to develop equanimity toward enemies and those who harm others.
This class is part of the "Buddhism for Beginners" class that is offered by Kunzang Palyul Choling (tara.org) every 2nd Sunday at 5pm. Everyone is welcome at this monthly introductory class in which we discuss how to apply fundamental Buddhist principles to our daily lives. The class also includes a brief talk on who we are and what we do at KPC, and ways in which you can participate.
