Angular 2 Training

A Three Hour Tour (of heroes)

Angular 2 has been released!  This is a *Hands-on* lab session to go through the Angular 2 Tour of Heroes tutorial with folks in the room to help set up, answer questions and get you on your ng-way. Bring your laptop!

In addition to tutorial content of template syntax, modules, components, directives, http, etc., I'll cover Typescript, project setups, package management, modules, DOM/Shadow DOM, helpful resources, tips and tricks, and gotchas.

I'll be using VS Code (works on any OS). Of course other editors work too. I recommend previous experience with HTML, some JavaScript, and Object Oriented programming. This is a casual session with a couple of slides and explanations with a lot of hands on time. If you have no experience with this stuff, use this as an opportunity to get up and running. You might consider going through the tutorial in advance and queue up your questions.

This is largely a repeat of the training session I did during the Summer.  If you attended that, since space is limited, please allow others to attend this round.  Or if you are comfortable with Angular 2 and want to help 'TA' this session, please drop me a line.

Maybe outside scope of what you want to talk about but...

How early in the bootstrap process can I detect environment & react to it? Specifically suppose I want to use a different service implementation for desktop vs phonegap/webkit or Chrome vs other browsers.
