AngularJS Application Project Structure at Scale

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • I'd like to hear the issues that folks have run into with large applications, which could be just multiple modules and dependencies, and what ways that they have structured their projects and code to mitigate these problems.

I could do a talk on integrating the flux architecture with Angular. We've found it to be very helpful at teasing apart responsibilities as our app has grown.

I like the topic a lot and it's definitely something that all of us have to deal with at some point. I like the idea of the round table since I believe there is no standard or do-this-and-that approach to solving this problem. Recently I've been dealing with all sorts of challenges regarding this topic and would like to share some of my findings with other people in hope that I might get closer to finding the "holy grail" of modular Angular large-scale applications.

Seems like what we really need are a date and a location. Is this something we should be taking the initiative on, or will the organizers be setting something up?

I wouldn't be doing an authoritative presentation, but I'd be comfortable discussing a few approaches to different large-scale problems I've encountered. These aren't general solutions to 'scale' but specific solutions to specific problems in a large scale environment.

Still think a round-table would be good, but maybe a series of small talks would kick that off best?

Really looking forward to this topic. Hope that we can come up with a date and location very soon.

Good topic, we are working through gaps as we adopt Angular at scale.

Sounds like it would make a great topic.

I'd love to have a kind-of roundtable about this, in addition to an presentation.

Talk about perfect timing. I'm heavily involved in converting a web portal from Flex to Angular, and I've been given a lot of leeway. Great! But, wait a minute. There are a so many decisions to make just to get started: the dev environment, the testing environment, presentation frameworks, traditional vs. mobile, require or not require, Yeoman seeding vs. DIY, and on and on and on.....

I think someone from our team can talk about this. We've had some fun problems with both of our apps
