AT THE CHELSEA MARKET LOCATION: The meetup will be held in the Chelsea Market building at 75 9th avenue between 15th St and 16th St.

Next, Misko Hevery,  the original creator of AngularJS, will take audience questions over video conference. Ask your questions here

Last, we'll finish off with some lightning demos which are quick 5-minute demos given by community members. Sign up now!

      Are you thinking of either prerender.io or brombone.com?

    Hi guys, there where a lot of questions about AngularJS directives at the meetup, so I figured I'd write a blog post to sum up the basic principles. Check it out: http://thecodebarbarian.wordpress.com/2013/09/23/the-8020-guide-to-writing-angularjs-directives/

    Hi everyone, has anyone done Http basic auth? I've been able to track this down: but can't seem to make any headway with actually sending the auth header. $http.defaults.headers.common['Authorization'] = 'Basic ' + login + ':' + password);

      With sessions? If so than yes

      Yes, it should be encoded, but I am trying to just get it working first. Each request to the API needs to have the auth header, but Angular doesn't seem to be passing it.

    Someone was asking about resources for learning Angular.JS and Eric Duran mentioned to me, but the conversation had moved on :

    Seems rather comprehensive.

    That was a very good meet up. I am getting the impression that the value add of Angular is data binding and filtering :)

    There was also a Google Tech Talk series. BY mistake, I went in there and could not leave. Was the session recorded?

    JavaScript developer @ LiveJournal. We are doing heavy refactoring of our app and recently moved from jQuery widgets to Backbone and then to Angular.

    Same here. Kipinhall moved from backbone to Angular.
