Feral Cat Expert Dr. Julie Levy

Dec 12
Description

http://www.meetup.com...

An intense debate is taking place in Hillsborough County about how to reduce the killing of animals at Animal Services. A Task Force has been assigned to research best practices, but not all members of this committee support No-Kill as practiced in over 200 community shelters across the nation.

Come hear different views on the feral cat issue. Some experts and members of our community suggest rounding up feral cats and killing them or warehousing them outdoors, while other experts and many animal advocates recommend Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNR)
