How to soup swap:
1.Everyone brings six 1 quart containers of frozen soup of one kind. Why frozen soup? It is easier to transport and you can make your soup weeks before the swap or anytime that is convenient for you. Ziploc makes quart plastic containers that are freezer friendly and stack well. Please bring 6 copies of the recipe to be given to the swapper that picks your soup.
2.We will then draw numbers. This is the order the soups will be chosen.
3.“The Telling of Soup” Each swapper will talk about what makes their soup so special.
4.In drawn order, each person picks a soup…1,2,3 – until everyone has picked their first soup and then again 1,2,3 – until you’ve gone around the room six times.
5.Everyone leaves happy with six different soups.
You don’t have to be vegan or even vegetarian -- anyone can participate in the swap as long as your soup is vegan. Participation in the swap is free.
