THIS IS A COURTESY POST, PLEASE DO NOT HIT "REPLY", BUT IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE CONTACT LORI AT THE NUMBER BELOW.

Anya was supposed to have a rescue commitment but that fell through and Lori has been doing this on her own.  Now Lori really needs to get the dog placed ASAP, as it was supposed to be short term a foster until the space opened up and it has long extended past that.  Lori has gotten Anya through all her medical treatment but she's having no luck finding a rescue up here that can take her in.  She's fully vetted and ready for her forever family. Can you please send out Anya's info to see if any one can take her in?  She's currently in Jacksonville but transportation can be arranged.  There's no fees or anything.  Lori just really needs a rescue that can take her and find her a home.

Anya is a 7-9 month female pit mix. She was found as a stray with severe head trauma to her left side leaving her blind, embedded collar and heartworm positive. She has since completed her heartworm treatment, had surgery to remove the collar and her left eye. She is fixed, house and crate trained. She can not be around cats or small dogs has she has a high prey drive. She does like dogs but can be a little picky about her dog friends as she is still learning how to properly introduced herself. Thank you for your help!
