Subject: Fix-A-Feral Sundays at SPCA

Hi Marilyn and Sue,

Can you please help spread the word about our feral cat days? We've decided to do one in April, May and June. We have the vets lined up to volunteer, we're just having a hard time getting caregivers to participate.

I will be making a flyer for SPOT and ACT to have available too.

Thank you!

Nora

FIX A Feral Cat Sundays ~  April 22, May 20 & June 17

Pinellas colony caregivers: bring your trapped feral cats to SPCA Tampa Bay on these dates.  ¨Your cost: $25 per cat ~ every 6th cat is free ($125 for 6 cats)   ¨Drop Off: 7am to 8am ~ we'll call you for pick-up

Services included:  ¨Spay or Neuter, Rabies and FVRCP Vaccinations, Deworming, External Parasite Control for 1 month, Ear-tipping, Basic Wound Care, Ear Cleaning.

Need a trap? Stop by our Admissions Office any Thursday thru Saturday just prior to Fix-A-Feral Sunday and rent one from us. $50 deposit per trap plus $2/per day rental fee - trap return required no later than the Tuesday following surgery. After the Tuesday following surgery, deposits are cashed and the $2/per day fee accumulates on traps that are not returned to us.

Why Trap-Neuter-Release?

For every cat spayed or neutered, there is the potential for hundreds of cats saved from dying out on the streets.  According to humane sites, one un-spayed female cat, one un-neutered male cat and their offspring results in 420,000 kittens in 7 years.  Each cat we sterilize makes a difference.  If you’d like to help us with monetary or supply donations, please contact us at [address removed].
