It's just kind of a mistake--something that should have been a bulletin board post got entered as a meetup.

Oops, I see the entries are all from 2015. Something that isn't used now?

Hey there, what is this category for? Submitting music for our twice a month jams? Or another new group?

It was great to see Bill Bynum. I've heard of him for years, but for him to show up and sing was a unexpected treat. We had a great time!

I would like to join in on this idea! Steel Drivers is my preference. Particularly their song about 4 cold walls...
    Hey Joe
And something with a slow blues lead to watch and try to learn.

What would be the best way to get the music to you: link to a webpage with tab, as a .doc/Word file to an email....? I think it's a good idea, I'd recommend 'Havin' A Party' by Sam Cooke, 'My Back Pages' by Dylan/The Byrds.

Hi. I accidentally joined your group while showing a friend your site. I belong to the same group in Houston Texas. 2 years. Mike and Jan are right. Pick some songs, 5, 6, 7, print copies and bring them in. Try to be familiar with them. Believe me, the better prepared you go in the more fun it will be. If not it can get chaotic and unorganized and you may not get much out of it. It helps to have someone take the lead. Good luck and have fun. You never know what may come out of it.

Why don't you just go ahead and pick 4 or 5 of various styles/genres that seem like they would be good for the group? I think it's a good idea to have a few tunes to start with, and it doesn't much matter which songs you pick, really.

Have y'all noticed that there are lot of tabs up under the
    "files" section?

Jan, what a sport to volunteer! Excellent idea! How will we get them to you, through here or email? Mark

I suppose I could come up with a few things. Where should I send my suggestions? (Still sorting out where everything is on this site...)

Jam, I think it's a great idea. Can I start sending you song suggestions now? It'll be perfectly OK if none of them will make it to the final list because I know what a "balance" playlist means :) PS. I'm still trying to make it to the meeting anyway...
